QuickTouch+ Mk2

At iStudio Projects, our ETC QuickTouch+ Mk2 is a feature-rich push-button rigging controller designed to deliver simple, safe, and precise operation of up to 12 fixed and/or variable-speed hoist axes. Part of the ETC Rigging Control Series, the QuickTouch+ Mk2 empowers operators to set and recall configurable trim heights for curtains, electrics, banners, and drops with pinpoint accuracy — while also enabling dynamic live variable-speed control via an intuitive slider or dial interface. Built with a hardwired deadman circuit, automatic safety self-tests, load profiling, and comprehensive hoist history logging, the QuickTouch+ Mk2 sets the standard for push-button rigging control in theatrical, educational, and performance venues of all sizes. Available in 1, 6, and 12 channel configurations with both surface-mount and flush-mount options, it integrates seamlessly with all ETC hoists and is fully backwards compatible with existing ETC Rigging systems.

Product Description

The QuickTouch+ Mk2 is a feature-packed push-button rigging controller that provides simple, safe operation of up to 12 fixed and/or variable-speed axes.

Use the configurable trim heights to set positions for curtains, electrics, banners, and drops with pinpoint accuracy. Create dynamic staging effects with live variable-speed slider control. Easily manage custom load profiles to maximize the safe operation of your system. These standard features are unparalleled in push-button rigging control. Line of sight flexibility can be achieved using an optional Fixed Speed Remote Control and up to four external E-stop stations.

  • Push-button control for up to 12 axes
  • Live speed control of variable-speed hoists via slider(6 and 12 channel) or dial (1 channel)
  • Hold-to-run controls with hardwired deadman circuit
  • Status, position, and load readout via LCD screen
  • Works with all ETC hoists and motor starters
  • Five user-programmable trims per axis (6 and 12 channel)
  • Load Profiling – stops axis movement at unexpected load conditions
  • Automatic self-tests of all safety circuits
  • Hoist and controller history stored in log files
  • Hoist usage data statistics and service interval reminders
  • Simple and cost-effective wiring scheme
  • Multiple languages (including English, Spanish, French, and German); imperial or metric data display
  • Backwards compatible with existing ETC Rigging systems
  • Channel Configuration: Select the appropriate model — 1, 6, or 12 channel — based on the number of hoist axes to be controlled. Each channel corresponds to one fixed or variable speed hoist axis.
  • Hold-to-Run: All hoist movement must be initiated and maintained using the hold-to-run push buttons. Releasing the button will stop hoist travel. The hardwired deadman circuit enforces this at all times.
  • Variable Speed Control: For variable-speed hoists, use the speed slider (6 and 12 channel models) or dial (1 channel model) to set the desired travel speed before or during operation.
  • Trim Heights: Program up to five user-defined trim positions per axis (6 and 12 channel models) for curtains, electrics, and drops. Use the LCD screen to monitor status, position, and load readings in real time.
  • Load Profiling: Record custom load profiles for each axis to enable automatic detection of unexpected load conditions during travel. The system will halt axis movement if a deviation is detected.
  • E-Stop: Up to 4 external E-stop stations can be chained per system. E-stop signals are hardwired directly to hoists for immediate response. Ensure all E-stop stations are accessible and tested before operation.
  • Remote Control: An optional Fixed Speed Remote Control can be connected for line-of-sight operation flexibility. A Rigging System Power Injector (RSPI) is required for systems that do not include fixed-speed hoists.
  • Power: The controller operates on 24 VDC low-voltage. All signal and power cables connect via dedicated connectors. The unit uses no fan, enabling silent operation suitable for performance environments.
  • System Capacity: Supports up to 12 motors per MCX-Bus Universe via connected Power and Control Distribution (PCD) boxes.
  • Service Access: A front-facing USB Type B connector is available for service technician access. Hoist usage data and service interval reminders are stored in onboard log files.
  • Environmental Limits: Operate within 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F) and 30%–90% relative humidity (non-condensing).
  • Language & Display: The controller supports multiple languages including English, Spanish, French, and German, with selectable imperial or metric data display.
