Overlap Clamp

At iStudio Projects, our IWEISS Overlap Clamp (Part # IWC05) is a precision-formed steel Channel Curtain Track component designed to join two sections of track at their overlap point while maintaining consistent, even spacing between them. Constructed from 1/6″ steel with a 3/8″ bolt and 2″ washer, the IWC05 provides a secure, stable connection at the center overlap zone of a bi-part curtain track system — ensuring the two parallel track sections remain properly spaced and aligned during operation. Measuring 6″w x 3-1/4″h and weighing 1.3 lbs, the Overlap Clamp is sold individually and is designed to be used in pairs, placed 2′-0″ apart at the center overlap point for optimal track stability and curtain travel performance.

Product Description

The IWEISS Overlap Clamp is a formed steel piece for joining and evenly spacing two sections of track. Clamps are sold individually, and should be placed 2’-0” apart at center overlap.

N/A

  • Placement: Install Overlap Clamps at the center overlap zone of the curtain track system. Clamps must be placed 2′-0″ apart at center overlap — do not deviate from this spacing as it is critical for maintaining proper track alignment and stability.
  • Quantity: Clamps are sold individually. Always use a minimum of two clamps per overlap point, spaced 2′-0″ apart at center, to ensure adequate clamping force and even spacing across the full overlap zone.
  • Track Spacing: The Overlap Clamp is designed to maintain even, consistent spacing between the two overlapping track sections. Verify that both tracks are evenly spaced before tightening the clamp to its final position.
  • Fastening: Secure the clamp using the included 3/8″ bolt and 2″ washer. Tighten firmly to lock the two track sections in their correct relative positions. The washer should be seated flat against the clamp body before tightening.
  • Alignment Check: Before fully tightening, confirm that both track sections are level, parallel, and correctly spaced. Any misalignment at the overlap will cause carrier binding or uneven curtain travel at the center meeting point.
  • Inspection: Periodically check that all Overlap Clamps remain securely tightened and that the track sections have not shifted or spread apart. Re-tighten as needed to maintain correct track spacing and system integrity.
