Curtain Channel Track

At iStudio Projects, our IWEISS Channel Track (Part # IWC20B) is a professional-grade curtain track system engineered for straight-run applications in theatrical, performance, and institutional environments. Fabricated from 12-gauge powder coated steel and rated at 50 lbs per linear foot (based on standard hanger spacing), the IWC20B is built to handle the demands of both walk-along and rope-operated curtain systems with equal reliability. The track and its associated hardware can be configured for bi-part or one-way draw systems, and a full range of suspension and mounting hardware is available to support ceiling, pipe, and suspended installations. Measuring 2-5/8″w x 2-3/4″h and weighing just 2 lbs per linear foot, this channel track combines structural strength with a slim, unobtrusive profile — making it an ideal foundation for any stage curtain system.

Product Description

The IWEISS Channel Track is used in straight track systems and is appropriate for both walk-along and rope operated curtains. Track and associated hardware can be assembled for use in bi-part or one-way draw systems. Suspension and mounting hardware is available for ceiling, pipe, and suspended support.

N/A

  • Application: Install exclusively in straight track configurations. This track is not designed for curved runs — use appropriate curved track components where bends are required.
  • Curtain Operation: Compatible with both walk-along and rope-operated curtain systems. Ensure the selected carriers and drive hardware are appropriate for the intended operation method before installation.
  • System Configuration: The track and associated hardware can be assembled for bi-part or one-way draw systems. Plan and confirm the draw configuration before beginning installation to ensure all components are correctly oriented.
  • Load Rating: The rated capacity is 50 lbs per linear foot, based on standard hanger spacing. Do not exceed this load rating. If hanger spacing differs from the standard, recalculate the allowable load accordingly.
  • Hanger Spacing: Install suspension hangers at standard spacing intervals to maintain the rated load capacity. Refer to the system’s Carrier Capacity Information and the IWC06 Clamp Hanger guidelines for maximum spacing requirements (7′-0″ maximum between hangers).
  • Mounting Options: Suspension and mounting hardware is available for ceiling, pipe, and suspended support configurations. Select the appropriate hardware type based on the venue’s structural conditions and installation requirements.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the track for signs of deflection, corrosion, damage, or loose hardware connections. Address any issues promptly to maintain safe and smooth curtain operation.
