Center Pipe Support

At iStudio Projects, our IWEISS Center Pipe Support (Part # IWC26) is a precision-formed steel component designed to provide stable mid-span support for Channel Curtain Track in bi-part curtain systems. Engineered as a flanged steel plate that bolts directly to a pipe clamp positioned above the track, the IWC26 securely seats two parallel runs of track at the center of a bi-part configuration — ensuring consistent track alignment, preventing sagging, and maintaining smooth curtain travel across the full span. Lightweight at just 1 lb and compact at 3″w x 5-7/8″h, this center support is a critical component for any professionally installed bi-part stage curtain track system.

Product Description

The IWEISS Standard Center Pipe Support is a formed steel plate that bolts to a pipe clamp above the track and flanged for seating two parallel runs of track. It is intended to provide support of track at the center of a bi-part system.

N/A

  • Application: Install the Center Pipe Support exclusively at the center meeting point of a bi-part Channel Curtain Track system. It is not intended for use at end supports or intermediate points away from the center.
  • Mounting: Bolt the formed steel plate securely to a pipe clamp that is mounted above and along the curtain track. Ensure the pipe clamp is properly secured to a structural pipe before attaching the Center Pipe Support.
  • Track Seating: The flanged base is designed to seat two parallel runs of Channel Curtain Track simultaneously. Verify that both track sections are fully and evenly seated in the flanged slots before completing installation.
  • Alignment: Confirm that both parallel track runs are level and properly aligned with the rest of the track system before tightening all fasteners. Misalignment at the center support can cause carrier binding or uneven curtain travel.
  • Load Rating: System load capacity is determined by the Carrier Capacity Information for the specific curtain track system in use. Do not exceed the rated capacity of the overall track and carrier system.
  • Inspection: Periodically check that the support remains securely bolted to the pipe clamp and that the track sections remain properly seated. Re-tighten or adjust as needed to maintain proper track alignment and system integrity.
